Materials 

*If you’re using #4 worsted weight yarn - 3.5mm or E hook. If you’re using #6 super bulky - 4.5/5mm hook. 

*Yarn in whatever weight or colors you choose! 

*Safety eyes suitable for the size plush you are making. 

*Yarn needle 

*Stitch markers 

*Scissors 



Abbreviations 

-US terminology 

St(s) - stitch(es) 

Slst - slip stitch 

Sc - single crochet 

Hdc - half double crochet 

Dc - double crochet 

Ch(s) - chain(s) 

Inc - increase (single crochet 2 times in same stitch) 

Dec - decrease (single crochet 2 together over next 2 stitches) 

MR - Magic ring 

(..) - total number of sts in a round. 

[..] - repeat instructions in brackets depending on x number of times following brackets.


This pattern is worked consistently in the round. 

No need to join, unless specifically stated.

Arms (Make 2) 

1: MR, sc 6. (6) 

2: Inc x6. (12) 

3: [1 sc, inc] x6. (18) 

4: [2 sc, inc] x6. (24) 

5-6: Sc around. -2 rounds. (24) 7: [2 sc, dec] x6. (18) 

8-9: Sc around. -2 rounds. (18) 

10: [1 sc, dec] x6. (12) 

Stuff the hand. 


11-18: Sc around. -8 rounds. (12) 

Press the opening closed and sc across. (5)


Fasten off and weave in the ends. 



Legs (Make 2) 

1: Ch 9, starting in second ch from hook, inc x2, sc 5, 3 sc in last ch. 

Working on the other side of your ch, sc 5, inc x2. (21)

  • Using white yarn, thread your needle and embroider a glare on the eyes. Finish off leaving a long tail to sew on over rounds 42-35 approximately 2-3 sts apart. Or you can choose to glue them on and save some time! 


  • Embroider 2 nostrils 2 rounds below, in the middle of the eyes. 


  • Embroider an ‘X’ for a belly button on round 13.
